ALCLIMA Platform
ALCLIMA is the first virtual platform that identifies and compiles good practices of adaptation and mitigation to climate change in Colombia, making known what is already being done in the country. It was designed to share innovative ideas in a simple and interactive way with a broad community of people interested in or driving actions that contribute to achieve a climate compatible development in the country, as well as to make visible impact actions that are not traditionally known in the national climate community. ALCLIMA was born from a coordination prototype that was developed by several climate leaders during the ACTION LAB Colombia 2013 organized by the Climate and Development Alliance (CDKN), with support from the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development (MADS). ALCLIMA was launched in May 2015 and is being driven today by CDKN, Semana Sostenible, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, INVEMAR and the Regional Port Society of Cartagena.
