This document constitutes the proposal for the Comprehensive Territorial Climate Change Management Plan for the Department of Atlántico (PIGCCTA), seen from a positive perspective to the year 2040. The objective of the Plan is to contribute to improve the capacity of the territory of the Atlántico to adapt to the average increase in temperature and variation in precipitation as a consequence of climate change. It also aims to develop relevant actions at the departmental level to reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions, responsible for climate change, in accordance with Colombia’s commitments acquired by signing the Paris Agreement.
