This document presents a diagnosis of the pillars that make up the New Economy for Food and Land Use for Quindío, as a contribution to the discussion to develop a roadmap of actions that can be implemented by the Department as the first FOLU territory in Colombia.
The document starts from the basis of the FOLU Colombia Diagnosis and Roadmap that were carried out during the 2017 – 2018 period. FOLU Colombia has a portfolio of actions within which the construction of a territorial commitment for Quindío that integrates food and land use systems has been prioritized. The document has been developed by the work team of the FOLU Colombia Coalition, led by E3-Ecology, Economics and Ethics and the World Resources Institute (WRI), with the support of the Government of Quindío.
The worldwide Coalition is made up of various institutions, including: United Nations (UN), Systemiq, Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), World Business Council For Sustainable Development (WBSCD), International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA), World Resources Institute (WRI), EAT Foundation and private companies that support the vision.
